The hotel, open since 1879, was born from the vision of a pioneer of hospitality, Maria Pendini. It stands out for its supremely central and utterly unique location, from which the two ancient Roman-era streets branch out, enclosing the entire Renaissance city with its world-famous monuments.

The interior of the hotel reflects the typical and characteristic Italian style. Every piece of furniture is unique and original, dating from the late 19th to the mid-20th century.
